Health Schemes
Our Health Insurance policy provides three levels of cover
- Basic Scheme
- Hospital Scheme
- International Scheme
The BASIC SCHEME and the HOSPITAL SCHEME are designed to provide cover in Malta only. However if you or members of your family require emergency treatment whilst overseas, then the scheme will cover the eligible cost of treatment up to the same level as what would have been paid had the same treatment been received in Malta. The INTERNATIONAL SCHEME provides cover on a worldwide basis except USA and Canada.
We also offer a Scheme for Work / Residence Permit Applicants.
The Europa scheme has been designed specifically for work and residence permit applicants; and complies with the requirements of the respective authority. The scheme covers the full cost of reasonable in-patient treatment received in Malta; and anywhere in Europe when the same / similar treatment is not available in any hospital in Malta. Benefits up to specified limits also apply for: Cancer treatment; Out-patient treatment; Emergency dental treatment and Funeral expenses.
Cost-reducing Options
When the following low cost options are selected, the premium will be considerably reduced
- Basic Scheme (In-Patient cover only)
- Hospital Scheme (In-Patient cover only)
These two variations provide full insurance protection for hospitalisation as an in-patient. Although these options do not cover out-patient treatment and consultations, they do provide cover for costly in-patient treatment, giving you the peace of mind that you deserve.
Further Flexibility
Enjoy further reductions in your premium by applying for a voluntary excess of 10% or 20%
